About Aster and Sweetpea Services

​Aster and Sweetpea Services was born from personal experience. When my son — let’s call him Aster — was diagnosed with apraxia, autism, and pathological demand avoidance (PDA) at a young age, I quickly discovered the significant gap in support available to families like ours, especially while waiting for therapy services. As a parent seeking help and clarity, I felt lost. From that need, this service was created — to walk alongside families, provide meaningful support, and help every child feel seen, heard, and understood. We specialise in behavioural, social, and inclusion support for neurodiverse children and those with additional needs.

 

Whether your child is on a waitlist for occupational or speech therapy, needs extra support alongside those services, or you're simply looking for guidance — we’re here to help with evidence-informed, strength-based support tailored to each child and family.

As part of our commitment to inclusion, we also offer Project Bloom — a school-based initiative that educates students on autism, neurodiversity, and the importance of kindness and empathy. Through storytelling, team-building, and open conversations, Project Bloom fosters awareness, acceptance, and inclusive school cultures.
